Palate: Toffee first and foremost, with notes of barley malt, gingerbread, tropical fruits, honeyed pipe tobacco leaves, black pepper, roasted chestnut, and freshly cut hay.
Tasting Notes: A cult-favorite world blend from the king of independent Japanese distillers, Ichiro Akuto. This blend includes whisky from his own Chichibu distillery, as well as whiskies from America, Canada, Scotland, and Ireland. As noted on the label, this is a true ‘world blended whisky’ and a great, accessible way to experience what enthusiasts love about Akuto’s approach to whisky.
