The rum was distilled at the Caroni Distillery in Trinidadon their great column still and is a classic example of their “HTR” heavy Type Rum.The small batch bottlingfrom a 1997 distillation has been bottled at cask strength showing all the quality and depth of flavour for which this distiery was famous.Sadly it is now closed and this style of rum will just become a distant memory when the stock has been consumed. Full gold in colour. with fruit and wood on the palatethe high spirit carriesyou to a long finish. Enjoy with ice or with a splash of water, drink with care.
